For its 11th annual birthday bash, the Boys & Girls Club of La Plata County is hosting “Forever Young: An ’80s Prom” to benefit local youth development.

The event, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at the DoubleTree Hotel Ballroom, is sponsored by Garrh’s Inc. and Tito’s Vodka.

Tickets are $20 in advance. Attendees get to partake in food, free beer and wine, hilarious photo ops, a chance to be prom royalty, and opportunities to win more than $3,000 in prizes. Costumes are encouraged but not required.
