Music in the Mountains will present its annual kickoff benefit for the 2018 season, “Cocktails with the Conductor,” from 6 to 8 p.m. April 8 at Sorrel Sky Gallery, 828 Main Ave.

The 2018 program, special events and soloists will be unveiled by music director and conductor Guillermo Figueroa.

Appetizers by Hot Tomatoes and drinks by Star Liquors will be provided during the auction event.

Proceeds go to the festival season and education programs.
