Peak Brewing Co., parent company of Steamworks Brewing Co. and El Moro Spirits and Tavern, hired Lisa Blue as human resource manager and Christopher Ruecker as controller.

The new positions are dedicated to HR and finance to encourage further expansion after hitting a high point of 220 employees between the two companies last summer.

Blue, formerly the HR manager at Crossfire, has more than 20 years’ experience in HR and corporate administrative supervisory and support servicest.

Ruecker earned his CPA from the Colorado Board of Accountancy after graduating with a Bachelor in accounting from Fort Lewis College, and has been providing business and tax consulting services independently since 2015.
